Hello! :)

Well done to everyone who performed in the concert last night! Thanks to the JC1s who helped out with the back stage, the filming of the concert and coming to support us! :) I'm sure that we can still do better than last night for the competition as we have just finish learning the songs like 1 week ago, right? So lets JYJY for the competition, yeah? Lets do our best and leave guitar ensemble with the best memories! :)

Oh oh, I've realised that everyone has been rather regular in the attendance this few weeks. Keep it up, guys! :) Only another 3 more weeks to go before we step down! Lets perservere on! Have a productive weekend! :)

Hello Jc1s!

Please bring $15 for the guitar camp on Friday( 19th March 2010) morning. With regards to the packing list, items such as the tuners, guitar support and guitars are not needed and all shirts should be school based shirts! Also, for those of u who wants to order the guitar or any other things, please download the order form attached below and bring the money + order form on Friday.

Hello all! :)

Great job to everyone who made the CNY performance and Ling Kwang Home a success though most of us had a communication barrier with the elderly. Hehex. Keep up the good work! :D

Do remember to keep ur right hand nails so that we'll be able to produce more sound on the guitar! And for those who have friends in JC1 interested in joining guitar, do let them know that there will be a session this wed, 17th Feb, at 4.50pm.

Enjoy ur Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year for the Chinese. Remember to study hard too! :D

Try to encourage as many JC1s as possible to join Guitar, esp those with music background and/or able to play guitar to join for SYF the following year! Hopefully, we can get about 50 interested members. :D

2) GE NUS 2010: Asian Folktales and Legends

7th March 2010 (Sun), 8pm

University Cultural Centre Concert Hall, NUS

Tickets priced at $12 each (excluding $1 SISTIC fee)

Incentive: With every 20 tickets purchased, there is a 20% discount/ 10 tickets purchased, 1 complimentary ticket will be given.

3)Canteen Performance (1st Feb):

Guitar Polo Shirt

Hello everyone! :D

Guitar T-shirts

We intend to design a guitar t-shirt to use during our CCA or outside school. It will be a polo shirt. Well, its up to you guys to decide which design your prefer and colour, however, there's some guidelines that we have to follow if we designing for the use during our CCA. The cost is still unknown as we are still searching for the cheapest supplier available.

Guidelines:

- No black, white or navy blue shirts

- School logo 5cm by 5cm in the front of the shirt

- No other prints on the front of the shirt

Colours:

- Gray

- Brown
- Orange
- Green (but used by rockwall cca)

Design

Please vote at the polls for the colour and the design. If you want a different colour/ have any queries, please tell us via the tagboard. The closing date for the polls is on the 2nd of december 2009.

Also, please refer to this blog from 17th december 2009 onwards for updated guitar practices during holidays! :D
